Heartsaver CPR and AED Course

Service Description

It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers and coaches. Its also a great course for those who have a responsibility to care for someone else ie parents. It is approximately 4 hours. The Heartsaver CPR and AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, children, and infant CPR; and relief of choking; and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also covers the use of the AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). *Attention Health Care Providers please register for the BLS course not this one. Course Content Chain of survival and reason for CPR Recognize when someone needs CPR, Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infant Give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups Utilize an AED on an adult, child, and infant Help a choking adult, child and infant A Heartsaver course completion card is issued at the end of the class.
